Holly Fairy and Robin

It was recently my mums best friends birthday (on the 13th I believe) and since she’s pretty much a friend of the whole family, mum asked me if I would make a card for her. Kinda cheated and did a Christmas-birthday card in one, but I can do that if I like: call it Artistic License

She really likes fairies so I tried to draw a fairy (based on a Holly plant hence the random dress lol) and a robin (because I like birdies and these robin ornaments we have were starting at me ) under a mistletoe sprig. Turned out NOTHING like I pictured in my mind, mainly because I suck at human-like things and didn’t reff. the Mistletoe. At least I finished it though! *Achievement in itself*

Aaaaand it was looking a little plain at the top so, yes, that is cotton wool glued to it! What? That was staring at me too! haha, fear my ability to personify

Water colours on water colour paper (wow I used two things together that were actually intended to be used together *another achievement*) and of course your garden variety 65p-per-bag cotton wool

(Also thought my gallery lacked anything festive - which is a crime considering how ferociously festive I am in real life *throws tinsel*)
